Awaiting Charitable Status from Revenue Canada due Dec.08
Participated in the Community Resource Fair-2007 & 2008
Distributed over 250 pairs of socks at the Sonshine Lunch Club Soup Kitchen- December 2007
Supported the Comox Valley Transition Society with donations of goods to those escaping abuse-March 2008
Supported Aids Vancouver Island/Waichay and Red Cross Outreach van with donations of goods-March 2008
In conjunction with the Salvation Army approached the Mayor of Courtenay to launch the Courtenay Mayor’s Task Force on Homelessness-December 2007
Six members of Dawn to Dawn were invited to sit on committees of the Mayor’s Task Force for their expertise in various fields-December 2007 to March 2008
Start date for CARE-A-VAN mobile healthcare unit February 09.
April 09 -Low Barrier Housing Project- 26 individuals housed.
